The Art of Flowers is a one-of-a-kind spring luncheon featuring a master floral arranger who will demonstrate how to create gorgeous and unusual floral arrangements that can be made at home for special occasions or everyday enjoyment.
Louesa Roebuck is a designer of ecologically sound flora installations and printmaker living in Ojai, California. The author of Foraged Flora, Roebuck’s work has been featured in national and international magazines and media including Vogue, Sunset, The New York Times, Martha Stewart Magazine and GOOP. Her impressive client list includes Michael Pollan, Michelle Obama, Todd Selby, Gwyneth Paltrow, Vivienne Westwood and Alice Waters of Chez Panisse.
Proceeds of the luncheon help us earn $50,000 to match a grant with the Robert Glenn Rapp Foundation to endow our spring bulb displays in the Gardens.
Lunch will be catered by The Social Order Dining Collective.

Every spring the Children’s Garden is transformed into a whimsical adaption a beloved children’s book. This year we will celebrate the “Where the Wild Things Are,” the 1963 children’s picture book by American writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak.

PUMPKINVILLE is a special destination that celebrates pumpkins and all things fall. During three weeks in October, more than 30,000 visitors will love exploring the mini-village made out of pumpkins and enjoy lots of fun, hands-on activities, entertainment, and special treats. In addition to hundreds of pumpkins on display, we will have hay-bale mazes, scarecrows, ghosts, colorful chrysanthemums, gourd displays and a variety of free activities.

Dazzle everyone who visits downtown this holiday season: thousands of skaters, families taking photos, basketball fans, folks enjoying a stroll or walking their dogs, and anyone driving through downtown, with merry, spectacular, bright holiday lights! Lighting the Gardens creates a sparkling and festive visual display that will be enjoyed throughout the entire holiday season. Who lets these playful penguins floating on their make-believe iceberg into the Crystal Bridge Lobby? Who festooned the room with beautiful glass icicles hung overhead? Maybe it was the same holiday elves who created the fantastic model train display complete with storefronts, bridges, trees, and tunnels. This season, plans are underway to create a bigger and more amazing Winter Wonderland inside and outside the Crystal Bridge!

Splendor in the Gardens
Limited to 400 guests, the evening begins with a champagne reception at our Park House Event Center. As the sun sets, guests stroll through the Gardens to the Great Lawn where a magnificent dinner of signature dishes is served by a variety of Oklahoma City’s top chefs.
This event serves to raise funds that help support the gardens and grounds, Crystal Bridge Conservatory and educational and special event programming at the Gardens. Sponsorships are available starting at $500.
