Finding Calm in Nature
Social Distancing doesn’t have to mean staying cooped up inside! Plants and nature can help us to remember to slow down and breathe during this fast-paced and stressful time. Head out to your own backyard or nearby walking trail and use these calming nature walk ideas to quiet your mind and body.
👉 Rainbow Walk: One person chooses a color for everyone to find in nature during the walk. Whoever finds the color first gets to choose a new color!
👉 Mint Meditation: Place a mint candy in your mouth. Walk-in silence until the mint dissolves.
👉 Slow Walk Race: The slowest person wins!
