What’s in Bloom

With thousands of different types of plants both indoors and out, the Myriad Botanical Gardens is the state’s premiere horticulture showplace! Here’s what’s in bloom this season and the horticultural highlights.

  • Tahiti Daffodil – They have a double flower with a touch of orange.  They are great for naturalizing into large drifts.  We have them all around the gardens, but the main shows are across from the water stage along the walls and around the dog park.

From Casey, director of horticulture: You should smell this beautiful Korean Spicebush (Viburnum carlesii) that is in full bloom now. You can find it along the west lake slopes and in the Meinders Garden.
