Chocolate Classes in store for Saturday

The Myriad Gardens’ education team is presenting not one but TWO classes on chocolate this Saturday! Deadline is approaching to register. One class is for children and the other for adults. Here are the details:

SOLD OUT: Hot Chocolate Adventure for Kids

  • Saturday, February 11, 11am – Noon
  • Terrace Room
  • Members $10; Nonmembers $12
  • Best for ages 7-10


Come in out of the cold with your little one and warm up as we talk about the Chocolate Tree and all the tasty products we get from it. We’ll dissect one of the Chocolate Tree fruits, and discuss how bitter beans turn into delicious desserts. We’ll create (and taste) two yummy hot chocolate drinks. 


Hot Chocolate for Adults: From Bean to Bar to First Sip

  • For ages 14 and up

Join us for this hands-on class and learn all about chocolate – where it grows, how it’s made once it’s plucked from the chocolate (Cacao) tree and how it’s turned into cocoa for the luscious drink. Discover how to set up a phenomenal hot chocolate bar all while sipping and mixing your own decadent creations.  Take home new recipes and ideas that will make you the envy of every hot cocoa lover.
